Take a stroll through Shukkeien garden and enjoy the many bridg-ponds. Buy fish food and feed the Koi(located in a little basket at the store n your left as you enter the park – the fish food, that is ,not the Koi.)

Hakushima Densha number 9 till Shukkeien-mae stop.
Walk past the Prefectual Art Museum to the entrance on youe left. Buy tickets ato the gate.

Enjoy one of the best-kept secrets Hiroshima has to offer by visitting Sankeien garden, the garden of three landscapes. This Japanese garden is a clever combination of a miniature mountain, sea and village landscapes with a replication of the style found in the Itsukushima shrine on Miyajima. The Hydrangea display during July is truly spectacular. Continue to the Forest Hills Garden for a glimpse st a beautiful Western style garden woven around the seven hotel cottages. Have lunch ato the hotel and linger in the overstuffed couches in th lounge until afternoon tea.
